We forget the marvel that mother nature provides us, instead turning to artifical sources.
Today Sarah encourages us to see our world differently. "Let your eyes drink in the beauty that surrounds you" Today really look at your loved ones faces, and saviour them. Ignore the dirt on your youngest's face and see it as not an "ugly" thing, but as evidence as what fun he /she has had making those mud pies. The smile should be the trigger, yet more often than not, we only see the mess.
Over the past few days, I have embraced the 6 threads of abundant living. These are:
Gratitude, Simplicity, Order, Harmony, Beauty and Joy.
So dear reader - how have you honored your soul?????
It's amazing what you take for granted as you get older. I saw this poem the other day (in a Roadhouse on the Nullabor, of all places!) called Mud Puddles and Dandelions

And I am going to put it somehere I can see it every day. I look at my 8 month old as she discovers her surroundings and various things for the first time and it is like I am seeing things for the first time all over again. Seeing wonder and beauty through the eyes of a child is amazing!
